ISARRA 2017: Registration, fees and hotel booking

Information on Conference,  Registration Fee and Accommodation

Conference

A full time time table will be available shortly, but here is an overview for those wishing to book travel and accommodation. Times may vary slightly. Note that you may find arrival on Sunday evening preferable. Rooms rates are being allowed from Sunday 21st.

ISARRA will open at 09:30 on the Monday morning, 22nd May 2017, with talks throughout the day. There will be an Ice Breaker in the evening, and delegates will be given some information for exploring local venues for their evening meal.

Tuesday sees a continuation of talks, posters and discussion, with the Conference Meal in the evening of the 23nd at the Argyll Gathering Halls .

Wednesday morning we have further talks, with close being at 13:00 but lunch available for those wishing to stay, and rooms available in the afternoon should groups wishing to have breakout sessions.  We aim to plan transport sharing and if feasible mini-bus for those requiring access to train or airport. The latter depends on coordinating arrival / departure flight times. More on this later.

Our registration site with secure payment is now live here

Registration fee

ISARRA Registration will be £150, which includes welcome pack, lunch and refreshments during the conference, Oban to SAMS transport, some travel to-and-from Glasgow Airport (to be confirmed), and also a Whisky Tasting Icebreaker (wine also offered) and the Conference Meal. These later two events will have an opt-out option on the booking page, valued at £15 and £35 respectively (hence Conference Only would be £110).

You can also purchase Ice Breaker Only and/or Conference Meal Only tickets for accompanying guests.

Accommodation

Our reserved hotel places are now all taken, so please see the list of hotels here, or use a popular search engine with "List of Hotels Oban". There are also Bed and Breakfast places and hostels, again easily searchable.
